Perpetual announces new asset management Head of Distribution EMEA

Perpetual Limited (“Perpetual Group”) (ASX:PPT) the multi-boutique asset manager and owner of J O Hambro Capital Management and Regnan, today announces the hire of Warren Tonkinson as Head of Distribution EMEA, starting in March 2024. This is a key appointment in enabling us to enhance our distribution footprint in a key growth region.

Warren joins Perpetual Group having spent the last three years at Jupiter, where he was the Global Head of Distribution. Before this he worked as Global Head of Distribution at Merian Global Investors (formerly Old Mutual Global Investors), prior to its acquisition by Jupiter in 2020.

Perpetual Global Head of Distribution, Adam Quaife said: “We are delighted to have Warren join the global team. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in the asset management industry and will play an instrumental role in building our growing presence in
Europe and the Middle East as well as bringing the full suite of boutiques within Perpetual to the UK market.”

Warren will be responsible for growing distribution across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), covering sales, marketing, client service and product development. He will continue the expansion into Europe that over the last three years saw offices opened in Ireland, France, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as building on our well-established UK footprint.

Warren Tonkinson Biography
Warren is an experienced asset management sales leader with over 25 years of experience covering clients in the UK and Globally. Warren started his asset management career at Fidelity where he was responsible for distribution for the FundsNetwork Platform, he then
moved onto UBS as Head of UK and then Old Mutual Global Investors where he was Global Head of Distribution. In this role he oversaw the rebranding of the business and its transition
to Merian and subsequent acquisition by Jupiter. He then joined the senior leadership team at Jupiter as Head of International and Institutional Distribution, before becoming Head of Global Distribution.
